Andropause
Andropause is commonly referred to as male menopause. It is the slowing decrease in the production of the hormone testosterone. This typically starts to occur in the male’s early 40’s.
Some of the symptoms of andropause are:
- Erectile dysfunction
- Decreased energy
- Fatigue
- Depression
- Muscle loss
- Wrinkles
- Decreased Libido
- Irritability and anxiety
- Sleep problems
At The Youth Rx, we help you slow down and sometimes even reverse negative effects of aging. We use the latest technology and anti-aging techniques available on the market.
Hormones steadily decline in males after they start aging after the age of 40. There are numerous treatment options for andropause and the natural aging process in men.
Muscle Tone
Most people’s muscles grow larger and stronger up until they reach the age of 30. At some point after 30 years of age, you begin to lose muscle mass and function. For those people who do NOT regularly exercise, they will lose as much as 5% of their muscle mass per decade (after 30 years of age). However, even if you are very active, everyone will still experience some muscle loss.
